I recently came across an old floor lamp I had in storage. It was a mess. It had caked on dust and was covered in cobwebs. Gross! Instead of tossing it out, I decided to refurbish it! First I cleaned it up, then sanded it to remove some of the old paint and prep it for painting. Then, I applied a couple coats of primer and paint.

The shade was made of plastic, so I just washed it off to remove the dust and cobwebs.

What do you do with old table lamps?
